Marketing Manager

Full time. Remote. Base salary £30k. Bonus £6k

We’re looking for an all-rounder, “technical marketer”. There will be a focus on Digital Advertising activity including AdWords, Facebook & LinkedIn promoted post campaigns & LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Plan the Social Media content and manage daily/weekly posting (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter). Working with the CRM & CMS platform, HubSpot, create and optimise automations/workflows, email campaigns (templates for nurturing, etc.), the company’s website and blog. Working with the product and sales teams ensure all the trade & product marketing materials are up to date. This role will suit someone with a broad background in marketing. The creative element including copywriting skills are essential with English mother tongue. There will also be light digital asset creation using Adobe and/or Canvas.

FETCH is an on-premises food and drink order and pay application for pubs, bars, restaurants, clubs, arenas, festivals, hotels and other venues. FETCH enables venues and hospitality operators to offer an impressive solution allowing guests to self-order-and-pay whenever and wherever they want to. In these challenging times FETCH also enables social distancing for staff and customers, and FETCH is also launching ground-breaking proprietary customer location technology which allows venues to locate customers within crowds.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Website

  • Responsible for the FETCH website, working closely with other departments to ensure the site structure and content always best meets business needs and requirements;

  • Set up and manage A/B testing to enhance user experience and customer journey;

  • Work closely with the designer to create assets for the website;

  • Consistently work across the site with a commercial focus to optimise awareness on business products.

Blog

  • Create blog posts and manage updates on the blog to maximise the presence of FETCH in appropriate spaces, including presenting FETCH as a trusted advisor on mobile order and pay;

  • Promote blogs on other channels;

  • Find new content opportunities through PR, influencers and bloggers.

SEO

  • Create and execute the content strategy for the website and blog to improve site presence and optimisation, the customer journey and conversion;

  • Proactively make suggestions and deliver new pages, content, and assets for the website to continually improve the user experience, content quality and rankings.

Online Advertising

  • Work with the digital advertising agency in running advertising (primarily PPC), sending relevant information, and checking activity is working correctly and effectively;

  • Create landing pages and tailor site content as required to maximise advertising response and effectiveness;

  • Run paid social campaigns on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn driving conversion and engagement metrics.

Email Marketing

  • Produce and distribute customer emails on an on-going basis to support business needs, campaigns and sales as required;

  • Create email content including copywriting, image selection, layout and proofing;

  • Data selection based on targeting specific customer groups and schedule emails;

  • Manage the set-up and optimisation for the reoccurring and triggered emails and ensure the information included is accurate and up to date;

  • Create email templates for sales team using the master template set-up;

  • Conduct best practice research on a regular basis, reviewing competitors, other companies and email leaders;

  • Manage CRM analysis, data and insight reporting.

Social Media

  • Run FETCH’s social media channels: Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and You Tube (and others, as appropriate);

  • Create a flexible content calendar which changes in response to business needs;

  • Manage customer enquiries on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook, escalating issues to Sales and Ops teams;

  • Respond to comments on posts & share news from industry leaders aiming to encourage further engagement;

  • Reviewing competitors & update the social media benchmark regularly to ensure FETCH is following current trend.

Reporting

  • Provide weekly and monthly reporting of the performance of online and offline channels;

  • Create reports to recommend improvements to marketing activity including emails, online advertising and social activity.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in a client facing SaaS project management role;

  • Experience of delivering a program of lead generation improvements;

  • Experience using website CMS systems;

  • Experience using CRM systems and managing emails;

  • Experience in running digital advertising in Google AdWords, Facebook, LinkedIn;

  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager;

  • SEO knowledge;

  • Basic HTML.
